THE SHOW
Bone Wars is an ambitious original musical based on the true story of Othniel Marsh and Edward Drinker Cope, the fathers of modern American paleontology. The two were also bitter rivals, and their hatred for one another fueled them to discover thousands of fossils in the latter half of the 19th century. Bone Wars brings this exciting period of American history and scientific advancement to life. This full-length musical features more than twenty original songs and will be performed by a cast of 18, with characters ranging from the historical (Chief Red Cloud, Buffalo Bill, Charles Darwin, and more) to the fantastical (a jury of dinosaurs called upon to end Marsh and Cope's feud).
Bone Wars has been awarded a self-produced residency at the historic Players Theatre in Greenwich Village, where it will run from June 18 - July 26, 2026. To stay up-to-date on ticket sales and exclusive offers, follow @bonewarsthemusical on social media.
